Hi Herb
My Son Steve was interested in a Flex.  As a Chambers Fan, having bought a Saab from you in Jan 2009 and most recently a Ford Focus in August 2010, my first call was to Jason Arruda!  As in the purchased of the Focus, Jason was terrific!  I helped my Son by working with Jason to locate a car and then we all went to see him last Saturday.  We bought the Flex!  Jason is an Asset to your company!  He is a great communicator, sincere, straight forward and extremely helpful.  He listens and responds accordingly.  When looking for our next car, assuming its a Ford, we will be back to see Jason! Jason is a fine example of the kind of employee and image you drive in advertising and promotions.

I just finished my follow up survery for JD Powers.  The follow
up was occasioned by a few ratings of 10 on my initial survey submission.
Let me be clear, that although my LR4 is a superb vehicle, the 10 ratings
were prompted solely by Roy Hildreth (service manager), Mike Flemming
(sales) and Kevin Ryan (service asssociate).  I would seriously consider
going elsewhere should they leave the dealership.  You are fortunate to
have such outstanding people who take pride in their work.

I recently purchased a 2011 Equinox LT from the Danvers Chevy/Cadillac
dealership and wanted to let you know that I had a great experience.

About 4 months prior to purchasing, I had come to the same dealership to
drive a larger SUV and was helped out by Paul Blanchette. There was no
pressure and Paul made a point to understand what was important to me in
an SUV. I walked away at that point not sure what to buy, but I liked
Paul’s approach and decided I would return if I bought a GM vehicle.

As the end of the year rolled around, I decided it was time to revisit the
dealership to check out the highly regarded Equinox; and again asked for
Paul Blanchette. I drove a vehicle that exceeded my expectations and met
the price I wanted to pay. It had great features and low and behold,
handled very much like the 2002 BMW X5 that I used to drive–a high
compliment to the Equinox.

The vehicle was purchased over the busy holidays which caused some back
and forth in the paperwork…but in the end, Paul delivered the car to me
at my work at iRobot and spent a long time showing me how to use the the
dashboard and OnStar controls. What service! Paul is kind and attentive
professional with attention to detail and follow-through.

I’ve been driving the car for a month now and love it.

Herb, Paul, and Danvers Chevy, thanks for a great new vehicle buying

I am glad to say that I am now a proud member of the Chambers family of car owners. I have to confess that I thought the experience of buying a car was similar to going to the dentist, necessary but painful. I now tell everyone about how wonderful it was buying a new car from one of your dealerships. I know this sounds like a commercial, (which I would be glad to volunteer to be in). It really was a great experience. Starting with Neal Bocian, who directed me who to talk to, Dan Bortolussi, the GM who was quick and responsive, Matt Newhouse, the Finance Director, who was pleasant and professional, Dan Garney, the sales consultant, who took all the time to explain every detail of the vehicle to me.  Everyone was great.
There were the big things, like offering the best price and my best trade in offer, finding the exact car I desired right away and getting it to the dealership. There were the small things, like filling the tank up with gas, offering me hot chocolate while I waited for the second wash after my test drive got the car a little dirty in the snow. Having a documentation fee lower than other dealers. Taking three forms of payment for the vehicle. These benefits, everyone being so friendly and helpful combined with the fact that I really love my new Hyundai Elantra has made the whole experience very pleasant and exciting.
Thank you for the leadership that created such a positive experience.

Dear Herb Chambers,
My Dad Has purchased a 2001 Toyota Camry Le from Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn Tim Dalton was our sales man. He was great very professional. Next in
2005 My dad also purchased a 2005 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4×4. Tim Dalton was our sales man for that too. We then bought a 2009 Toyota Corolla xle.
My dad called Tim Dalton he put us in the right car for a great price again!
Our recent car purchase was in August 2009 A 2010 Rav4 Sport. We worked with Tim Dalton and we got another great vehicle!

I Am almost on  Herbchambers.com every day! I even Downloaded the Herb Chambers App on my i pod!

I was wondering why you don’t have a Nissan Dealership? You have so many other great dealerships.

Dear Herb,

My name is Rob, and I am beginning the process of looking for a new luxury sports car.  For me, it is huge commitment, and I am looking at many makes and models.

One dealership, not part of your corporation, treated me as I was a number, and tried to push a car on me.

When I went to your Lexus Dealership in Sharon, the difference was night and day.  Your associates are understanding, kind, and considerate.

I would like to single out Ms. Nikole Secher. I have been trying to schedule a test drive with a Lexus 250c.  I did not get back to her to schedule an appointment because my father, who is in his 80’s, was rushed to the emergency room.

At the time, she was not aware of the situation, and she wrote a very professional note asking when would be the best time to come in.  Then when I informed why I had not responded in a timely manner, she wrote a very compassionate note. To me, that speaks volumes of not only your dealership, but also of her as a person.

As someone who is a public school teacher and earning a law degree in the evening, one appreciates kind, respectful people.  It goes a long way.

I have not decided what type of car I will buy, but if all your employees at your other dealerships are like Nikole, then I know I will be buying a quality car from a quality dealer.

I do hope you read this letter, and appreciate Nikole.

Herb,

Just wanted to write a quick note to inform you of an excellent experience I had last week at your Honda
dealership in Westborough.

On Thursday evening I drove buy to look at the selection of Pre-owned Honda’s. I was met at the door by
Rich Merlino (Sales and leasing
Consultant) who assisted me in understanding the Honda Certified Used Car program. I have never written a
note to commend a salesperson, however I felt like Rich was an excellent representative for your company
and you should be made aware.

I informed him I did not have much time over the weekend as I had some plans with my wife and kids. He
updated me and scheduled times for us to meet on Saturday and Sunday to test drive cars. I selected a car
mid-day on Sunday and he had it prepped and ready to go by end of business.

This was one of the easiest transactions I have ever been involved with to date and I would certainly
send family and friends to your dealerships.

Rich was great and an excellent ambassador for your company.
