Dear Miguel,

I know it’s been almost 2 months since I purchased my 2007 328xi from you but sometimes it’s a good thing that I didn’t get back to you in haste.  It gave me more time to consider your dealership and my car.

First of all, let me say your dealership is impeccable and like nothing I’ve ever experienced before!  It is a monument to BMW and the general Boston area.  From the professional look of the employees with suits which really impressed my wife and I the first time we entered your doors, the overall showroom appearance and service shop down to the excellent Keurig coffee machine, (not to mention the friendly receptionist with quarters for the parking meters)!

As you know, we’re from the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area, home to the TV show “The Office” so a trip to Boston takes 5-6 hours, (i.e. it better be “Worth the Trip”)!
And yes, you and Kevin Barry didn’t disappoint us there!

Thanks to you, we quickly settled in on purchasing the car on the “first trip” to your dealership.  At first, we felt pressure due to the distance between us and that this may seem not a wise thing to do considering our monetary investment, but Roberta and I felt very comfortable with your policies.

Miguel, you were very confident in explaining the finer points of the car, giving us everything we could reasonably expect as a trade in for our 2004 Passat, the extended warranty for 2007 BMW’s, and in providing assurance that the paperwork between PA and MA would not be a problem, and that the car would be exquisitely detailed before we closed the deal.  Roberta and I were not disappointed, as we could not tell it from one of your new cars on the showroom floor.  You even threw in new floor mats, a BMW plate, and a Herb Chambers key chain!!!! (I’m not big on key chains, but this one is a keeper with me)!

Over the past weekend, I got some free time and was able to wash and wax (with Mothers paste wax) the car and clean the interior for myself.  Again, there were no surprises!

Kevin, you too were very confident in explaining the finer points of the contract, explaining the best price, and offering the various packages to enhance the long term preservation of the car.  This was very evident with your knowledge of what your dealership will do to the car including new tires if/as necessary (which were), down to the extended protection for the finish and road hazards for the wheels and tires.  Since we both live in the great NE, we can really relate to the snow, ice and associated pot holes which can easily damage a wheel or tire.

Would I purchase another vehicle from you, Absolutely!
Were the 2 trips worth it, Absolutely!
PS: I had Miguel put one of your “Herb Chambers” “Boston” dealership frames around my license plate which I proudly sport throughout the W-B / Scranton area!
I’ve already had several people remark about the condition of the car and in response I simply reply; You’re the “Place to Go” for a great car and a great deal!

Dear Mr. Chambers,

Last Saturday, April 10, 2010 my BMW 2005 broke down in the Boston area. I
was unable to find a rental car with Enterprise due to all their sites being
closed and the airport site policy to not rent cars to Massachusetts
drivers. I telephoned to BMW to tow my car to Herb Chambers BMW and the
minute that I arrived I seen the person that sold me the car nearly 2 years
ago Miguel Banos saw that I was having a tough day. He immediatly pulled the
service manager to look at my car right away. I explained what had occurred
and that I was due in Portsmouth NH in just a few hours. Miguel had
instructed the receptionist to find a rental agency that would rent to me
and pick me up as soon as possible. Although there was only 15 minutes left
for the service department to close, everyone on staff was extreamly
helpful.

I just want to thank you and your staff for making it possible for me to get
back to my conference in Portsmouth and service my car. I hope to continue
to do business with you and I know for a fact where my next purchase of a
BMW will be.
