Purchase of a Honda Accord, Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk Nancy – Middeleboro, MA

Dear Mr. Chambers,
    After having a really poor experience at another Honda dealership where
we’d gone to to purchase a new car, my husband suggested that we try the
Herb Chambers Dealership in Seekonk.  We arrived there after work at 6:30 in
the evening and the salesmen were all very busy.  Someone greeted us at the
door and asked if anyone had tried to help us.  When we told him that no one
had, he said that he would send someone right over.
    Within moments, Bruce Stein arrived and offered to help.  Although I
suspect that he had already had a long busy day and probably had not eaten
since lunch, he patiently explained at lenght how the government was
processing Cash for Clunkers auto purchases.  He was calm, friendly, detail
oriented, professionally dressed and professional in his manner -
outstanding.  He made buying our new Honda Accord Ex-L a very pleasurable
experience!
    When it came to financing, it was about 9:00 PM and Tom Arsenian was
just a pleasure to work with as well.  He was smiling and welcoming as well
as very professional.  He affered us a panorama of services for our new car
and processed the paper work quickly and efficiently, again – outstanding!
    We felt that you should know that because of the treatment we received
by these two gentlemen, we would’t hesitate to recommend a Herb Chambers
Dealership to our extensive group of family and friends.
     Since we know that the polished approach to the public exhibited by
Mr. Stein and Mr. Arsenian come directly from the tone you expect from your
personnel, we’d like to thank you for a VERY nice experience.

Excellent Car Buying Experience, Herb Chambers Honda Westborough, Gina – Holliston, MA

This was my first experience in buying a car at a Herb Chambers
dealership and it was the wonderful. Pleasant is usually not a word one uses
to describe car buying but it was. It was by far the best experience I have
had in purchasing a car. My salesman Khoa Nguyen was excellent. He could not
have been better. He was straight forward, non agressive, and very
informative. I have been telling everyone I know that I will never buy a car
anywhere else.

I want to commend Drew Hill on solving my issue promptly and professionally.  I had a refund due to me for an unused extended warranty contract, and my prior contact was initially responsive but then the communication went cold.  Drew picked it up for me, solved the issue, and I had a check promptly in my hands.  Not only did he fix it, he called me back, several times, to let me know what was going on.   Please pass on my thanks to him.

Hello,

I would just like to say that my bad experience with Herb Chambers Honda of
Seekonk has completely changed to a GREAT one. Scott was more then helpful
in finding a resolution to this problem. He was very nice and understanding.
He helped in picking out another car that I truly feel I am going to be
thrilled with…and it’s a Honda! I couldn’t be more happy. I’d also like to
mention that I was unaware of how much of their time and effort has gone
into trying to resolve the problem with the title. I got a chance to speak
to Cliff and find out that I had misunderstood some of the stuff he had
said. I am so happy that I was able to sit down with Scott and review all
the options that were available to me. This has truly changed to a positive
experience and I will absolutely recommend Herb Chambers to friends and
family! Thank you very much!!!!

I have had a horrible experience with Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk. I bought a certified used ‘05 Toyota Corolla back in the beginning of May. I drove the car for a weekend and had to return it due to a problem with the title. I was told it was a small problem that would be resolved within 3 days. They set me up with a free rental and everything was fine. . . That is until I tried to call and find out what the issue was and no one seemed to know. I was getting different stories from people and no one would call me back. After about a week of this I complained to the sales manager and at that point I received a phone call from the saleman that I had bought the car from. His name is Cliff. He is by far, the most rude person I have ever had to deal with. I also speak to customers everyday at work and I would never talk to them the way he has talked to me. He has told me not to call him. This is MY CAR, that I spent a lot of money on! Herb Chambers had to pay my first car payment because it was due a week ago. I was told the title would be in on June 5th. That was almost 2 weeks ago and no one has given me any answers. Cliff says he’ll call me and he never does. I end up calling him. In my opinion, this is the worst customer service experience I have ever had! I am in the process of contacting the Better Business Bureau in regards to this matter. I would like the title, or a replacement car for the same price…or my money back!

I just wanted to write a quick note to tell you what a great experience I had working with Keith Banks-Obanor at Honda/Boston. I am the type of person who does my research and always walks into a dealership with low expectations. We originally went in to look at a used Accord. We left in a brand new one! Why? Keith treated my wife and I with the utmost respect. He knew exactly what we were looking for and made it happen at a very good deal. The car buying process was smooth from start to finish. Because of him, you can expect me to refer people to him and your dealership. Give him a promotion!

I would like to follow up on my first e-mail from this morning. About 20
minutes ago, Howi Resk, General Manager, called me and asked about the
situation. He did all the right things – listened and offered a
solution/option. I was very impressed by the way he managed the conversation
and, in particular, how sensitive he was about my wife’s experience. We
agreed that I would bring the car to the dealership for re-inspection of the
scratch and that it would be fixed. His wording was clear and simple; to the
point. I appreciate the effort and I hope, if the car will be indeed fixed,
that my wife will simile again. Thank you, for now, for the follow up and

We bought a used car (Honda Accord 2007) yesterday and thought we’d celebrate (we signed the paperwork on Monday, title on Tuesday and picked up the car on Wednesday this week). Instead, we feel taken advantage of and really disappointed. The car was presented to us as in Excellent Condition and both, the manager Kevin and the sales person Alex, lied to us. We asked them about the condition of the car multiple times and they both said repeatedly that the car is excellent condition and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. They let us believe that we are getting great deal on the car. They must have known. It’s their job to know. And we feel it was also their job to let us know about this condition. There is a scratch on the door that we were not told about (and unfortunately we didn’t notice it; it’s not big and you might not notice it at first glance because it’s on the lower part of the back doors) and the sales person told me yesterday, when I was picking up the car and when I noticed the scratch, that “you didn’t see it because the car was dirty before. It’s nothing don’t worry about it.” We also did get only one key with the remote and one valet parking key.
So that’s our experience with your dealership and with your people. I wonder why am I even writing this? I think because I still want to believe that the person we see on TV telling us about the great experience one should have when buying a car telling the truth and that he really means what he says. We are therefore asking you to make this right. We are asking you to give us that great experience. Unfortunately, I can’t ask you for the tears of my wife back. But perhaps you can do something about the car. Respectfully, Miroslav

Hello Mr. Chambers

I am very happy to write to you regarding the dealership that I visit to take care of my car-the Westborough Honda dealership.

Mr. Abdul Khalid sold my husband and I, two new vehicles last year.

I purchased a 2009 Honda Accord and my husband Kevin, a Honda Pilot. We were both very happy with Mr. Khalid and will readily recommend him to more potential customers. Mr. Khalid was very helpful and went out of his way to provide both of us with information and get vehicles we both enjoy driving.

I never thought I’ll see the day when I would say, ” I love my Honda.

I feel I am being unfaithful to my Audi TT”. Mr. Khalid did a graet job of finding a car that fitted my travels.

I am also very happy about other personnel as well.

Mr. Tom Van Fechtmann, the manager for the store from my first visit, made me feel welcomed. He and other staff members collectively made Honda an easy place to visit and get my car serviced and cared for. My car had a small issue that came up, and Mr. Van Fetchtmann went out on a limb to fix the issue. I was very impressed by his commitment to provide service excellence.

Today, Mr. Allon Swift, much like his name, got me in and out of the dealership after grade B type service on my Accord.

Overall, I am very happy regarding the service that is provided at the Wesborough location. I have found that the personnel at the dealership to be friendly, efficient, provides quality work and to be extremely professional.

I am writing to commend Herb Chambers Honda of Boston for a customer-friendly service policy.

I bought my past two Hondas there, and had a very good experience each time.

Service visits have been efficient and friendly.

A few years ago, the cable on the door to my gas tank broke, and HC fixed it under the warranty.

Recently, the cable broke again (through no abuse or misuse, clearly a defective part).

I brought the car in today to have it repaired. I received a quote of $220 to repair it. This didn’t sound right, since I had just had it fixed a few years ago and it was already broken again. I asked if HC could back this repair, since I am a loyal HC customer. I was told that HC would cover 75% of the cost of the repair, leaving me responsible for only 25%. This seemed fair to me, and now the repair has been done.

When I told a friend about this (she already knows what a good experience I had buying my last two cars from HC), she said she would buy her next car there.

Your willingness to work with your customers in order to make sure they are satisfied is what keeps me coming back, and recommending you to my friends.
