Dear Mr. Chambers,
 

    I would like to personally thank you and tell to you about mine and my daughter’s recent visit to Westboro Honda. Rose Garceau our sales consultant and Gregg Vitello your general manager were outstanding. I would like to thank them for their professionalism and also for the relaxed atmosphere they showed my daughter Kimberly and I when we were buying a car for her.
    They were able to put together a price and an interest rate that we were able to afford. I am 55 years old and I’ve bought a few cars in my life but never was I so at ease or under any pressure to buy.
     I would also like to thank Josh Mono in the finance department again for not pressuring to buy but giving me, a father peace of mind an extended warranty that was affordable to our budget.
     Thank you again and I will definitely be doing business with your company in the near future.

Working Late to Help a Customer at Herb Chambers Honda in Westborough – Matt

I wanted to take a moment to thank Tony in the service department at your Honda dealership in Westborough.  I left work the other night and found that the battery in Honda was dead.  After securing a tow I made it to your dealership at around 6:30; only about a half an hour before the service department closed.  Tony got a mechanic (I think his name was Kevin) and tested my battery.  He initially did not think they would be able to do anything that night.  After determining that I needed a new battery, the replaced it immediately and had me on my way within 45 minutes.

I sincereley appreciate Tony and Kevin’s efforts to take care of my car; especially at the end of what I am sure was a long day.  It would have been a huge inconvenience for me if I had to be without my car for the night.

You don’t usually see that level of customer service anymore. 

Thanks to both of them for taking care of me and my car so quickly.

Hello, I wrote to you the other day regarding a friend of mine who was having difficulty regarding his “Certified” Honda Accord.

My friend told me that Honda Seekonk contacted him the other day regarding his situation, apologized and asked that he bring his Honda in so that they could perform the necessary repairs – which he did yesterday.

As you and I know, this individual was not treated fairly, but that in itself doesn’t mean that Herb Chambers would make this right. So the fact that you took action to make this “right” I would like to say “Thank You”. I know my friend is grateful as well and I am at least hopeful that he can be treated more fairly in the future when bringing his car to your dealership for future service needs. Again, thanks!

Friend of mine was looking for a used Honda Accord “Certified” he looked at the Seekonk dealership but left not able to agree on the price of a vehicle. I was passing your Honda dealership in Westborough and saw a “Certified” used Accord that looked good and seemed to be price right. I suggested to my friend that he should give your dealership another chance and go with me to look at this vehicle even though this location is much farther away (he lives in North Providence, RI). The salesman at the Westborough dealership was willing to work with my friend on this car and my friend did in fact buy it from your Westborough dealership. During this process the question of honoring any warranty work would be covered by any of your Honda dealerships. So now a couple of months go bye (about 4,000 miles) and he is enjoying his Honda Accord however he hears a noise when braking and decides to bring it to your dealership in Seekonk, which is about a mile from where we work. They tell him the vehicle needs rear brakes and rotors – he asks about the warranty – they say it is not covered – however, when buying this “Certified” vehicle he was told that this vehicle had at least 50% or more life on the brake components. My friend does not drive fast, aggressive or in any other way that would cause his brakes to wear out at 4,000 miles. That is not in my opinion the No. 1 problem – the problem is the service department at Seekonk. They told him they couldn’t help him because he didn’t buy the car from them??? He bought a “Certified” Honda from one of your Honda dealerships and they are unable to help him. He calls back to your Westborough dealership and the person there tells my friend to have the Seekonk service department call him for verification etc. so Seekonk can do the work on his car. He then calls Seekonk and they tell my friend they will not call Westborough, have Westborough call them – completely blowing him off. My friend is not an aggressive consumer and does not wish to cause anyone any discomfort however he is not in a position to pay for new brakes this soon after buying a “newer” car, one that was sold as “Certified” and sold for more money than a comparable non-certified vehicle.

This is no way to treat a customer – he did buy a car from Herb Chambers, in my view this behavior wouldn’t even be acceptable if it was about an individual who bought a car not from your dealership.

This person deserves to be treated with respect – he’s not looking for something for free. When the warranty period is over for his car wouldn’t you want him to still bring his car to Herb Chambers for service – service that he would be paying for over numerous years to come?

I want to compliment you on the way your Westborough Honda dealership is
run.  I purchased a Honda CRV from your dealership and it was one of the
most pleasant experiences I have had in purchasing a vechile.  Rick
Rignanese(salesman) and Tom Van Fechtmann(GM) were most helpful in helping
me choose the vechile that fit my needs.  They were courteous, professional
and did not use high pressure tactics that most car dealers use.  I want to
thank you for having people like this on staff. I would not hesitate to
recommend this dealership to family and friends. I would like to thank Rick
and Tom for a pleasant experience.

Newest Life Long Customer at Herb Chambers Honda Westborough, Brandon – Southbridge, MA

I haven’t had the opportunity to send this to you yet, and I feel
bad. It’s approaching 2 months since I took delivery of my 2010 Accord EX-L
from your Honda of Westborough dealership, and I need to tell you about my
experience!

I’ll start with the experience I had at several other local Honda
dealerships. I was skeptical of shopping at such a large dealership, I’ve
always tried to do business with “the little guy” because they tend to be
clients of mine, and I like to help them out. I visited 3 other, smaller
Honda dealerships (I’ll leave their names out of this, because it gets
ugly!) Upon entering dealership#1, it took nearly 20 minutes for a
salesperson to contact me, other than the sales manager, who refused to come
out from behind his cubicle to help me. Dealership#2 wouldn’t let me take a
test drive after they saw that I was 23 years old; according to them, being
23 automatically means you have poor credit, or don’t make enough money to
buy a $30,000 car. (The joke is on them!) Dealership#3 tried to down-sell me
into a Civic, again, assuming I couldn’t afford the accord.

Then, reluctantly, I stopped in Westborough around 6:15PM. Khoa greeted me
at the door on my way in. He looked like he was walking somewhere with a
purpose and asked me if there was anything I could help with. I told him I
was interested in a new accord, but still wasnt sure if I should go with the
V6 or the 4. Khoa finished up with whatever he was doing, grabbed my license
for a minute, and got a set of keys for a 2010 Accord EX-L V6, and we went
for a quick test drive. On the drive, he didn’t push for the sale, but asked
a lot of questions about what I did for work, why I drove so much, and in
the process, he uncovered a few needs that I wasn’t sure I had. Being in
sales myself, I could really appreciate that he wasn’t pushy. I also told
him about the experience I had at the other dealerships, and that this was
definitely the car I wanted to buy, but I still needed a little time to
think about it. Since it was approaching 7:00, and closing time, when we
returned, I called it a day, and headed out. Khoa didn’t have to call me
back, I stopped in the following day to take the 4-cylinder EX-L out for a
test drive to compare. I noticed the difference immediately, and decided on
the V6. I still was unsure of the color combo. I knew I wanted black
exterior, but couldn’t decide if I wanted the black/black or black/ivory.
Khoa helped that decision along by offering a personal story, and
recommended the black w/ ivory interior because of the contrast, and how
great it looks when you open the door to the car and it’s glowing inside. He
had me visualizing owning the car, which really made the decision. After all
the paperwork was done, I took delivery later that day. Although this was
only the third vehicle I’ve purchased, and the first new vehicle in my
lifetime, I can say that it was by far one of the best car shopping
experiences I’ve ever had. I said the same thing in my American Honda survey
that I took last month about the purchase experience, I hope that Khoa is
selling luxury cars by the time I make my next vehicle purchase from Herb
Chambers Companies!

I would truly appreciate it if Mr. Chambers contacted me in regards to this,
rather than an assistant, as this is something I feel he should hear
directly from a customer! Thank you in advance for making the effort to
reach out to one of your newest life-long customers!

Today I was in for service and even though it took a little longer
than
expected,I was taken right in By Heather Bohana and she made sure
they gave the service That I wanted (oil change & Sticker) and they

Hello.  My wife Jessica and I purchased a 2010 Honda CRV on January
17 from Herb Chambers Honda of Westborough.  We have only had the vehicle
for a few weeks, though we absolutely love it and look forward daily to
driving it.

   Of particular note, we both wanted to highlight the excellent
customer service that we received from JESSE SUMMERS, who is a member of
your HC of Westborough Sales team.  Jesse brought us into the world of Honda
ownership, provided us what we asked for on our visit and continues to
follow up and assure us that he will continue to be with us for any issues
or questions.  Jesse’s professionalism is beyond reproach and has left my
wife and I more than satisfied with our experience.  I would like to thank
Mr Summers in all his diligent efforts to assure our experience is positive

This morning Jan 31, I went to your dealership for service as a
result of my Civic starting to make a strange niose on saturday afernoon.

When I called them, they said they had an opening on Sunday which I thought
was absolutely faantastic.

Upon arrival I was treated very courteously by Adam in Service who promptly
logged me in and took my car in the service area.

I went to the lounge where I enjoyed using my computer and your guest
wireless network. Another plus.

Within 30 minutes, Adam came to me stating threy had found and corrected the
problem which was an errant rock that had bounced up by the driver side tire
and got stuck in a cavity near it.

He said no damage was done to my car which was good news.

The other good news was when he gave me the bill, or should I say when he
didn’t give me the bill. Ha! Ha!

My compliments to Herb Chambers and his staff!

I have always brought both my cars to Westborough Honda and this last trip
jusr reinforced why I go there.

Good job, Adam and the Service Technican who found the problem.

Great Staff at Herb Chambers Honda of Westborough – Lorraine – Westborough, MA

My  husband and I were looking for a vehicle for my husband. He
thought he wanted a Toyota Tacoma Pickup. So we were looking at area Toyota
dealerships. I suggested we go to your dealership, which is where I
purchased my 2007Honda Pilot (which by the way, I love it).
We arrive there and we were greeted by Andrew Bellamy, very nice young man.
We looked at the 2009 Honda Ridgelines available, and decided to test drive
one. My husband loved it.  Andrew was great, he answered all our questions
regarding the vehicle, and when it came time to make a financial decision he
was really able to work with us and our idea of how much we wanted to pay.
He actually made purchasing this vehicle a comfortable experience, and we
had fun doing it.
The finance person that we saw was also great, he took us through the
finance part, explained other finance programs in debt and helped us
understand the options that we had available to us.
Will I buy at Herb Chambers again, probably you have a great staff.
