<p>Dear Mr. Chambers,</p>
<p>We recently purchased a 2010 Honda Odyssey at the end of October.  We want you to know how pleased we were with the Herb Chambers experience, with particular mention to a wonderful Sales Consultant named Mr. Jonathan Dias.</p>
<p>Mr. Dias warmly greeted us and walked us through every concern we had in deciding whether to buy the 2010 or 2011 Odyssey.  Having owned 5 different Honda vehicles ourselves, it was more important to us to learn about new features and dealership warranties as we already know the value of owning such a great car.  We thoroughly enjoyed working with Mr. Dias.  His knowledge of the new vehicle was impressive and he answered all of our questions and more. </p>
<p>We were pleased with how Mr. Dias handled the negotiation process as we were able to trade in our 2001 Honda Odyssey and drive away within a few days with a wonderful updated car.  Mr. Dias also followed up his excellent customer service and called to see if he could assist with any questions or concerns.</p>
<p>We hope you will recognize and commend this wonderful employee.  It was truly a pleasure working with Mr. Dias and Herb Chambers dealership.</p>

<p>I wanted to take a moment and send along my compliments to your company. The reason for this correspondence is that I came away from Herb Chambers Honda last week feeling as if true old fashioned customer service still existed in the world. I can?t recall the last time I felt so well served in any place of business.</p>
<p>Last week I came to your Boston Honda store interested in purchasing a 2010 Honda Accord Coupe, which would be my 7th Honda, 4th from Herb Chambers. I was greeted by Kathy Smith and she refused to give up on finding the car that fit me best.</p>
<p>After a short time trying to match me into a car of my liking, I walked away very pleased with my experience dealing with Kathy for the third time.</p>
<p>I want you to know that I have repeated this story numerous times in the past week. There is no neighbor on the cape nor friend I have not told of your companies? kindness. I found Kathy to be not only professional, but personable and kind. It meant a lot to me,  because I was very excited to get a new Honda. When friends or family are in the market for a new car you can be sure I will recommend them coming to your place of business.<br />
As for Ms. Smith, she is extremely capable in dealing with the public.  Having spent the past 5 years working with the public in Sales, I recognize and appreciate her excellence in this field. She is a credit to Herb Chambers and I thank her for her patience, perseverance and personality.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m a new customer to Herb Chambers Honda in Boston, and so far I&#8217;ve been<br />
impressed by everyone I&#8217;ve met.  Both Kathie Smith and Howie Reske met my<br />
pricing needs and got me the car I wanted in the color I wanted.  Kathie in<br />
particular was an outstanding sales person, knowledgable, patient, and<br />
engaging.  Both were friendly, professional, and kept their cool, even when<br />
I got cold feet.  They made sure to listen to my needs, deftly handled a<br />
rather difficult situation, and in the end made the sale without any<br />
pressure.  These are great qualities, the last one especially, given today&#8217;s<br />
economy.</p>

<p>I wanted to write and tell you what a great experience I had working with the Honda of Boston.From the time I called and got a wonderful, helpful women on the phone Anastassia Curry she set the start of a good buying experience. She made sure the car I was looking at was brought over from Charlestown and was there when I arrived. She set me up with Ed Hohmann and there was know pressure what so ever. Being a single women in her 40&#8217;s going to look for a car myself was made so easy for him. He took me out for a test drive and he did pressure me at all. He said he was hear to help me buy my CRV not just to sell it to me. So I brougt it 2 weeks ago and I love it so much!!!<br />
When I went to pick it up I meet Michael in service. What a great guy! Purchased the mat for the way back and he quickly went out and put it in for me. Went back this past Friday and got the winter mats and he did the same thing. The way I saw him interact with other customers he has great customer service skills. I told him I mcuh I loved my CRV exl and he ran in and go my the sticker &#8220;I love my Honda&#8221;. I was recommand to you by word of mouth and I will differently pass my great experiece I had with these 3 great people on to others. By the way, this is my visit Honda. I have always driven Volkswagons. Now I happy to say I made the right decision choosing Honda of Boston and my CRV EX.<br />

<p>This is a story that begins badly but has a very happy ending. Two weeks ago my husband and I went into Herb Chambers Honda in Boston with every intention of walking out with a leased 2009 CR-V.  After a series of employee mistakes/unprofessional behavior we left vowing never to return.  That day I wrote an email to Herb (Talk to Herb) just to blow off steam but never actually expecting a response.  Then the General Manager, Howie Reske, called me and said &#8220;Thank-you for taking the time to write and I apologize for your bad experience. What can we do to bring you back to Herb Chambers.&#8221; I didn&#8217;t think there was much he could do. After listening to my story he said if &#8220;I offer you this&#8230; would that get you back and leave you with a good feeling about Herb Chambers Honda?&#8221; Well, he won me over and we came back and leased our car there. An apology is powerful thing and for him to reach out to try to win back a customer is remarkable.  You are lucky to have such an amazing G.M. We are telling everyone we know about the GREAT experience we had at Herb Chambers Honda rather than the bad one. And that is all because of Howie Reske.</p>

<p>I went in today to lease a Honda CR-V.  My husband had been in the day before.  He was the only person in the showroom. Not one person at the sales desk asked if they could help him. Finally a young woman (Jasmin Brown) came out from a different area and was very helpful, so much so that we returned today for me to test drive a car.  We asked for Jasmin but she turned us over to Steve. (Apparently she does internet sales). Anyway Steve showed us 2 cars. We were VERY interested but he kept going back to his manager to get us the right price. We were very firm about our price and said so. Finally we got tired of playing this game and went to the front desk and said to the manager our price. He said to Steve (not us, never even looked at us nor introduced himself) that he couldn&#8217;t do that price.  So we left.  Not a great way to do business, Herb.  We came in to go home with a car and we left with nothing but a very bad taste and will not return.</p>
