I would like to take a moment to recognize the outstanding customer service provided by Kari Boreske on a recent service visit.  She was committed to ensuring that my experience was superb.  I had been told by another employee that I would receive a BMW loaner; when one was not available, I approached Kari.  She handled the situation gracefully, located a BMW and confirmed that I was happy when I returned the car the next day.
She thoughtfully evaluated the situation and went the extra step to think outside of the box to find a solution.  She turned what was becoming a mediocre experience into one that I will remember when I am looking for my next BMW.

Dear Miguel,

I know it’s been almost 2 months since I purchased my 2007 328xi from you but sometimes it’s a good thing that I didn’t get back to you in haste.  It gave me more time to consider your dealership and my car.

First of all, let me say your dealership is impeccable and like nothing I’ve ever experienced before!  It is a monument to BMW and the general Boston area.  From the professional look of the employees with suits which really impressed my wife and I the first time we entered your doors, the overall showroom appearance and service shop down to the excellent Keurig coffee machine, (not to mention the friendly receptionist with quarters for the parking meters)!

As you know, we’re from the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area, home to the TV show “The Office” so a trip to Boston takes 5-6 hours, (i.e. it better be “Worth the Trip”)!
And yes, you and Kevin Barry didn’t disappoint us there!

Thanks to you, we quickly settled in on purchasing the car on the “first trip” to your dealership.  At first, we felt pressure due to the distance between us and that this may seem not a wise thing to do considering our monetary investment, but Roberta and I felt very comfortable with your policies.

Miguel, you were very confident in explaining the finer points of the car, giving us everything we could reasonably expect as a trade in for our 2004 Passat, the extended warranty for 2007 BMW’s, and in providing assurance that the paperwork between PA and MA would not be a problem, and that the car would be exquisitely detailed before we closed the deal.  Roberta and I were not disappointed, as we could not tell it from one of your new cars on the showroom floor.  You even threw in new floor mats, a BMW plate, and a Herb Chambers key chain!!!! (I’m not big on key chains, but this one is a keeper with me)!

Over the past weekend, I got some free time and was able to wash and wax (with Mothers paste wax) the car and clean the interior for myself.  Again, there were no surprises!

Kevin, you too were very confident in explaining the finer points of the contract, explaining the best price, and offering the various packages to enhance the long term preservation of the car.  This was very evident with your knowledge of what your dealership will do to the car including new tires if/as necessary (which were), down to the extended protection for the finish and road hazards for the wheels and tires.  Since we both live in the great NE, we can really relate to the snow, ice and associated pot holes which can easily damage a wheel or tire.

Would I purchase another vehicle from you, Absolutely!
Were the 2 trips worth it, Absolutely!
PS: I had Miguel put one of your “Herb Chambers” “Boston” dealership frames around my license plate which I proudly sport throughout the W-B / Scranton area!
I’ve already had several people remark about the condition of the car and in response I simply reply; You’re the “Place to Go” for a great car and a great deal!

I had a terrible experiencing on the way to a 4:00 PM Boston Yankee game on 10/2/2010, where I was to meet my son who attends Northeastern.
While on the Mass Pike somewhere near exit 10 I hit a pot hole that blew out a tire on my 2011 X5. Since the car has run flat tires I was able to make it to the rest area where I found a three inch hole in the right front tire.
After calling BMW assist and being told I needed to get off the Mass Pike before they could tow me somewhere, I decided to call your dealership and was informed that you are open on Saturday and Sunday, so I made my way slowly to Commonwealth Avenue.
When I got to your dealership I was told that it may take until Tuesday to get a replacement tire. After I explained my problem regarding meeting my son for the game, your service advisor THEO, came to my rescue. He called around and found a tire that could be delivered ASAP. After I paid for the service he called me a cab and told me the car would be ready that evening.
I made it to the game, met my son and had a wonderful time. After the game I took a cab back to the dealership at 9:00 Pm where I found my car right where Theo said it would be.
I can’t thank you and your staff enough for the over and above effort they made to turn a horrible situation into a memorable one.

Incredibly Wonderful Experience at Herb Chambers BMW of Boston, Wayne – Roseland, NJ

I want you to know what a great person you have working as a Service Advisor in Dan Small.  I am from NJ.  I had a problem with my left rear tire on Monday, and called BMW assist; they directed me to your Comm Av location.
It was 5pm.  I needed quick assistance since I had to drive back to NJ first thing this next morning.  Dan Small greeted me in a friendly matter, and was incredibly understanding and nice; as were your service technicians who quickly saw the 1 inch construction bolt in the tire; repaired it, and I was back on the road in an hour with my day saved.  He even offered to put the car in the wash line.  I can’t tell you how grateful I am for this incredibly wonderful experience on what otherwise would have been a bad situation for me.  While there, your sales people also interacted on a very friendly basis.  If I ever have the occassion to need BMW sales/service in the Boston area, I will be there in a minute.  You have a great representative in Dan Small, and I am truly impressed by how I was treated by everyone I came in contact with at your Comm Ave location.  My wife and I went to BU, and go to Cape Cod, so we have heard your name for many years.
