Dear Herb,

I am pleased to be able to write to you with good news. My sister has completed her purchase of a 2009 Camry from Toyota of Boston. As usual we checked other Toyota Dealerships and hoped to complete our transaction with you.

I have to say this time Toyota of Boston definitely surpassed our expectations. Jillian and Tim and Patrick were wonderful to work with and always customer orientated. With your assurance I took my sister to Toyota of Boston and I am happy I did. Our salesperson was Mike, one of the people we had our disastrous experience with last summer. However, I must complement him as he was able to give an excellent presentation. I am sure it was difficult for him to see us again but he was able to rise above the situation and demonstrated good customer relations…

I have always admired your customer philosophy, honesty and work ethics. We have purchased from the following Herb Chambers Dealerships:

Hello Herb

I have written to you before complimenting Pat Blake of Lexus and complaining about your Boston Toyota Dealership. Our experience there was so bad we ended up buying our Tundra LE from another Dealership.

Presently my sister is here for Christmas and is looking for a new Toyota to buy over the holiday. At this point I will not recommend she try Toyota of Boston without some assurance from you we would not be treated so badly again. We love your Lexus Dealership and your philosophy. However, from past experience that dealership does not follow your wonderful customer relations.

In this busy world it seems we always have enough time to complain but never find the time to say thank you. Bob and I would like to thank Patrick Blake for his wonderful and caring commitment to his clients. He is always pleasant and willing to listen to what his clients have to say. You never feel rushed or in a hurry when you are with Patrick. Patrick Blake is a tremendous asset to Herb Chambers Lexus in Sharon. We always have a feeling of confidence knowing that we can contact him at any time and he will solve a problem immediately to the best of his ability.

We have always been treated with respect at Herb Chambers Lexus of Sharon. However, I wish I could say the same of other Herb Chambers locations. At two other locations, Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston and Herb Chambers Collision Center in Braintree, we have been treated rudely and with disrespect which is something I would not expect at Herb Chambers locations.

We will definitely continue our relationship with Herb Chambers Lexus because of the wonderful treatment and respect we receive each time we go there. Again, I want to commend and complement Patrick Blake for his commitment to Lexus and especially his clients. It is unfortunate that we would not return to other Herb Chambers locations.

My family has been a customer of Lexus of Norwood since the first Lexus rolled out in the early 90’s.  We absolutely love the new dealership you have built in Sharon.  It’s an amazing facility, and the location is very convenient for RI Customer.

I‘m in the market for a 2009 M3 sedan.  What made me think of your BMW dealership is I am an admirer of your Ferrari Daytona that you had rescued and restored.  I enjoyed watching a recent television show that featured you finding one of your dream cars and then restoring it.  I think your passion for cars and your good business practices are what separate you from the rest of the people in the car business.

I recall a few years back, my father became displeased with a deal he had worked out on a Lexus SC with a sales associate.  Apparently news had gotten back to you and you had personally called him.  That phone call alone made him believe in your dealership enough that he resolved his issue, and purchased the car from you.  The rest is history.  Based on my parents over 15 years of loyalty to your Lexus dealership, I have decided to shop to find the BMW of my dreams at your dealership.  Since I love to drive manual transmissions, Lexus isn’t an option.  BMW is my passion.

You’re an icon; I hope you continue to pursue your passion for automotive excellence.

Dear Mr. Chambers,

I have been a long time customer of your dealerships over the years and have always enjoyed my car buying experience.  I wanted to write to you and tell you how much of a great job that several of your employees at your BMW dealership in Boston did dealing with me over the purchase of my new BMW.  I dealt with Ken Ly, Abdou Merheb & Catherine Rogers  and I must tell you they were all absolutely outstanding!  This was by far the best experience I have ever had buying a car.  You have assembled a great team there and they really do put the customer first.  I felt as though I mattered and was treated in a manner that will not only make me return for future purchases.  I will also recommend to all my friends, family and everyone else looking to purchase a new car that they go see these three people to be treated the correct way.  The entire process went smoothly and much better than I anticipated.

I wanted to make sure that you were made aware of what a great job that they did.

Dear Mr. Herb Chambers,

Sir, I don’t even know where to begin, because if I wrote down everything that I wanted to say, you would be reading this letter for days straight. I have never in my life been so pleased, actually overwhelmed, by the great service provided to my wife, Rebecca & I since 2006. From the first day forth, the highest level of professionalism was shown by your entire staff. I find myself at a lost for words, just trying to explain to you how happy we are, but I will do my best.

It all started from the time I picked up the phone to call your Audi Burlington Dealership to check on inventory of used Audi A4s [Side Note: left leasing a new 2007 A4 :) ] I still remember my first step into the dealership. The customer service that was awarded to my wife and I was something we had never experienced before or even expected. The entire staff was phenomenal, especially Vadim Makhlis. I no longer see him as a car salesman, but truly as a friend. The personal attention provided to us by Vadim, Bob from Service, and the rest of your staff at Audi Burlington, was the beginning of our lifetime of loyalty to Herb Chambers. They didn?t take the extra step in providing great service, they took a giant leap. I was so impressed that when I was in the market for a new 335i convertible, I asked Vadim where I should go and he referred me to Melissa Steffy at BMW of Boston.

Now the staff at Audi Burlington set a very high bar for the staff at BMW of Boston and just when I thought my experience at Audi Burlington could not be repeated, what a phenomenal job Melissa, Rob Gale, and the rest of the staff did in proving me wrong. When I first shook Rob?s hand, it was the beginning of a great friendship. I knew I would be getting my 335i from him no matter what. Melissa and Rob made my wife and I feel like we were family. I was definitely not an easy customer to deal with (sorry Rob) and put up a tough fight; asking probably 100 questions to which Rob was on point with every answer. The attention provided to me by your entire staff at BMW of Boston, made me feel like I was the most important customer there every time.

My wife & I currently reside in Attleboro, MA and in no way are Audi Burlington and BMW of Boston the closest dealerships to us for service. Yet we would never even think of taking our vehicles to any other service departments. We have been so happy from the customer service provided to us by both dealerships that we recommend everyone we know to Herb Chambers Dealerships. I rave about how great the service is so much, that sometimes I feel like I?m the one selling the car. So far every person we have sent your way, had nothing but great things to report back. I am proud to tell you that the great service your staff provided them has resulted in the sales of 2 used BMWs, 1 new Toyota, 1 new Dodge, and 1 new Hyundai.

I have only but one regret and that is not making the time to write this letter earlier. I truly hope you know what a wonderful staff you have and the great service they provide. I could never imagine going anywhere else. Rebecca & I truly thank you and your staff.
