Dear Mr. Chambers:
I hope you have the time to read this with your very busy schedule.
I recently walked into your BMW of Sudbury dealership late on a Saturday afternoon at approximately 4:30 p.m. and was promptly greeted by Mr. James Affannato of your sales team. Although it was probably close to closing time, Mr. Affannato more than took the time to help me and allow me to drive the CPO vehicle which I had selected on-line.
Both my husband and I were very very skeptical about what our experience would be like at Herb Chambers BMW of Sudbury, as we had assorted experiences at other BMW dealerships, including in Florida, within the prior few weeks.
Mr. Affannato also answered all my husband’s questions and my husband complimented him as a ‘very good sales man’. My husband certainly does not hand out these compliments freely that I know of — and I should know, I am his top salesperson at Century 21 Travis (which my husband owns) of which my husband manages 20+ sales people daily.
Mr. Affannato not only took the time to allow me to drive the vehicle I selected on-line for a test drive, but also very patiently and expertly, answered all my husband’s questions on the features of the car. Once we were done driving the vehicle, he brought us inside, answered even more questions, and one of the most important questions – what were the financing options for someone like myself with an 800 credit score. We had been very very firm, that I was a serious Buyer, but would not be buying today (and probably not the next day either).
Well, the very next day, we decided I would purchase a brand new 2010 X3. Our decision was based upon the cost per mile in conjunction with the exceptional financing for a new vehicle over a CPO vehicle.
The financing information was a key component in my decision and Mr. Affannato was the ONLY BMW salesperson ANYWHERE who took the time to get me the specific answers on the financing….can you believe it! The usual answer was, ‘not sure, it depends on your background, our business office handles that area’ — vague at best. Mr. Affannato took the time to get the answers, and his extra attention to detail, made the difference to both myself and my husband to feel comfortable.
Mr. Affannato also took the time to introduce me to other people at your dealership who met with me including Mr. Kosta Pappas, the General Manager and Mr. Mike Cerrone, the Business Manager, who were very knowledgeable, patient and exceptional with all their help as well. Both of these men, along with Mr. Affannato, were very very kind to me and my husband, helping to make my sales experience a positive one.
They both called me back with answers to all my questions and if they did not know a specific answer, said they would check and let me know….and they did. In fact, I still hear from them to make sure that all is fine with my new car. To this day, they all thank me for the business at your dealership whenever I speak with them.
In short, everyone was more than terrific to me. Although, I was referred to specific contacts at other dealerships, my experience was so good at Herb Chambers BMW of Sudbury, that I finished up my sale at your dealership, thanks to the great team that you have.
I have already recommended them to others, and love my new car and I hope you commend them for a job well done.
