Leased Audi A4, Herb Chambers Vespa of Boston Vartan – Waltham, MA

I recently leased an Audi A4. I was assisted by Wayne Altavilla. He
has impressed me. Most dealers are only nice to customers until they make
their sale and get the paperwork signed. However, Wayne stands apart from
this in many aspects. He was like a true friend for me during the process.

I just want to say what an amazing experience I had having my Audi serviced last Friday (May 8). I was coming to your dealership after having an atrocious time at Audi of Brookline and was hoping to finally find a place that had great customer service and knowledgeable staff. I found those qualities and even more. My expectations were certainly exceeded. Eric Thorner was very helpful and I am delighted to finally find a service center I can joyously keep coming back to. Even though it is out of my way (I live in Boston), it’s definitely worth it. Thank you for finally showing me what I thought when I bought an Audi: great service, great customer service, and appreciation for my business.

I just wanted to send a quick note to make you aware of the superior sales and service team that I do business with at Audi of Burlington. My experience goes back to the early 90’s when I bought my first Audi (followed by several more) and a Porsche as well. All were sold by John Cellemare who continues to be one of the best salespeople I’ve ever met. He’s thorough, knowledgeable, patient and a great listener. Our most recent purchase is an ‘08 Audi A-6 for my wife and John’s service was AAA as usual.

I also have to give kudos to Joe in service who takes great care of my “family fleet” which includes an A-8, two A-6’s and an A-4.

Both of these gentlemen truly enhance the experience of purchase and ownership. I hope you are aware of their value to the franchise.

Dear Mr. Chambers:
I live in Burlington and have watchedthe Pasz-Weitz Porche/Audi dealership exchange ownership to you and have watched the construction of the new and beautiful new building in its construction.  I live close enough to walk to the new facility.
There is no doubt that it is a handsome addition to our town.

Shortly after your aquisition of the existing dealership, I wrote to you regarding traffic on South Bedford Street (the residential side opposite the Lahey Clinic).
The old ownership used the residential areas of South Bedford Street and Lexington Street as routes for service testing and sales.  Your Honda dealership is included.
You kept your word and I am grateful to you.  So greatful that I bought a Pontiac from you, at the Danvers facility!
As your business continues to grow, I am hopeful that you might encourage any new employees to be aware that residential areas of town already overwhelmed by traffic should be avoided for the safety of residence.

Dear Mr. Herb Chambers,

Sir, I don’t even know where to begin, because if I wrote down everything that I wanted to say, you would be reading this letter for days straight. I have never in my life been so pleased, actually overwhelmed, by the great service provided to my wife, Rebecca & I since 2006. From the first day forth, the highest level of professionalism was shown by your entire staff. I find myself at a lost for words, just trying to explain to you how happy we are, but I will do my best.

It all started from the time I picked up the phone to call your Audi Burlington Dealership to check on inventory of used Audi A4s [Side Note: left leasing a new 2007 A4 :) ] I still remember my first step into the dealership. The customer service that was awarded to my wife and I was something we had never experienced before or even expected. The entire staff was phenomenal, especially Vadim Makhlis. I no longer see him as a car salesman, but truly as a friend. The personal attention provided to us by Vadim, Bob from Service, and the rest of your staff at Audi Burlington, was the beginning of our lifetime of loyalty to Herb Chambers. They didn?t take the extra step in providing great service, they took a giant leap. I was so impressed that when I was in the market for a new 335i convertible, I asked Vadim where I should go and he referred me to Melissa Steffy at BMW of Boston.

Now the staff at Audi Burlington set a very high bar for the staff at BMW of Boston and just when I thought my experience at Audi Burlington could not be repeated, what a phenomenal job Melissa, Rob Gale, and the rest of the staff did in proving me wrong. When I first shook Rob?s hand, it was the beginning of a great friendship. I knew I would be getting my 335i from him no matter what. Melissa and Rob made my wife and I feel like we were family. I was definitely not an easy customer to deal with (sorry Rob) and put up a tough fight; asking probably 100 questions to which Rob was on point with every answer. The attention provided to me by your entire staff at BMW of Boston, made me feel like I was the most important customer there every time.

My wife & I currently reside in Attleboro, MA and in no way are Audi Burlington and BMW of Boston the closest dealerships to us for service. Yet we would never even think of taking our vehicles to any other service departments. We have been so happy from the customer service provided to us by both dealerships that we recommend everyone we know to Herb Chambers Dealerships. I rave about how great the service is so much, that sometimes I feel like I?m the one selling the car. So far every person we have sent your way, had nothing but great things to report back. I am proud to tell you that the great service your staff provided them has resulted in the sales of 2 used BMWs, 1 new Toyota, 1 new Dodge, and 1 new Hyundai.

I have only but one regret and that is not making the time to write this letter earlier. I truly hope you know what a wonderful staff you have and the great service they provide. I could never imagine going anywhere else. Rebecca & I truly thank you and your staff.

Vadim, general manager of Audi Burlington, contacted this customer and made arrangements to have the repairs completed the following day. Because of the inconvenience and delay in service, arrangements were made to have his vehicle picked-up, dropped off and a loaner car provided while the service was completed.

I just got back from a service appointment that was a little disappointing. I called 2 weeks ago for the appointment and explanied that it was the sun roof switch. After thay looked at the car, they came down about an hour later and said, “yup it’s the switch, we have to order one.” I own an S4 and know a little about cars. I was hoping they would have one in stock since I mentioned it and explained the symtoms in detail. I drive 50 minutes each way to get to your dealership, bypassing an Audi dealer much closer, and do so becuase the service was good when it was Pass and Weisz. I must now come back and lose another morning for this simple repair.

Secondly, when asked if I would like the car washed, I replied yes. When I got to the car, it was obvious that it was just dusted off. Half the roof and hood was still dirty with road dust and the car was not dripping any water.

Just thought someone would want to know. I’m sure you will address it, and I haven’t given up.
